Australian fur seals seem to have made a home on Wreck Beach and been spotted a few times by groups walking on this spectacular remote beach. Often they make a dash from their resting place to the safety of the sea when they see walkers approaching, as they are unaccustomed to humans here. If you see one make sure to give it plenty of space and enjoy from a distance this marker of a healthy eco-system.
