Parks Victoria have been doing a wonderful, on going job with improvements to the GOW track and facilities, with more benches and rest platforms added this year. The viewing platform at the walk’s end overlooking the Twelve Apostles has also been upgraded with a finished stone floor and improved seating. It makes for the best spot to get your picture taken with a background of the famous rock formations – indeed many walkers find the official tweleve Apostles visitor centre with it’s big crowds and coaches quite uninspiring as a contrast. The walkers platform is a well kept secret that allows GOW walkers to enjoy the best views without the crowds!
